Bringing Ancient Heroes to Life

Did you have a favorite hero when you were a child?  Perhaps it was a famous footballer, politician or comic book character?  These kinds of individuals, real or imagined, often inspire children’s dreams.

SAT-7 KIDS also wants to inspire the imaginations of its young viewers.  One program that does this well is “Friends and Heroes,” a cartoon about a Christian family struggling to survive the perils of living within the pagan Roman Empire.  They face persecution, the wrath of Roman soldiers, the threat of thieves and many dangers.  As their adventures progress, the Christian father shares stories about heroes of the Bible.  These Heroes of the Faith provide lessons which SAT-7 KIDS viewers can apply to their own adventures in life.
