New Worlds of Music on SAT-7 KIDS

Children love music, and songs are one of the best ways that children learn verses from the Bible.  In the new SAT-7 KIDS program “On an Errand” (Ruhna Mishwar) young viewers are taken to new worlds of music.

This program helps to make different musical traditions, Eastern and Western, accessible and fun.  During the show, the hosts describe the instruments, musical styles and artists.  They also teach their young viewers more about how the songs are made. 

In addition to this new musical program, during November and December 2009, the SAT-7 KIDS team will be working on a number of Christmas musical specials that will help children learn more about the story of Jesus’ birth and why certain songs are sung during the Christmas season.
