SAT-7 News and Prayer Letter | April-May 2008

Perhaps you have heard of "The Alpha Course" which is basic introduction to Christianity being offered around the world, by churches of most major denominations. Developed over many years, this course is designed to help people better understand the foundations of the faith. The programme begins with a talk entitled: "Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant" and moves on to cover such topics as, "Why should I believe the Bible" and "Who is Jesus." SAT-7 PARS recently began airing a version of this course delivered by an Iranian pastor. Many viewers have written and called to say how much the course is helping them better understand what Christians believe and why.

Please pray that God will continue to use this programme to help many more viewers understand the basics of the Christian faith.
