SAT-7 News and Prayer Letter | April-May 2008 |

Since the recent launch of the 24-hour SAT-7 KIDS channel (in December 2007), there has been a growing demand for on-screen talent. The channel regularly utilizes Arab Christian children to serve as hosts, presenters, actors and reporters. Right now several producers are auditioning children to fill new roles. In addition producers are in the process of building sets for the new shows. Other SAT-7 KIDS staff are exploring how best to use the Internet to support children who watch the programmes and want to know more about the topics they see on air.
Please pray that the SAT-7 staff working to create new sets and websites will have great creativity as they work to support SAT-7 KIDS viewers. Pray also that the Lord will send the right children to serve as on-screen talent, because having the right hosts and actors can really help viewers see the life of Christ within the performers. They both love SAT-7 KIDS. All its programmes are super, and they really enjoy: "Koky and Atat" (two life size puppets), "Naji Show" (a Christian science programme), "Leish Hek" (Why is That?) and "Abou El Orif" (Father Orif-an educational programme). They also love "As-Sanabel Plus" (Ears of Wheat-arts programme), "Helwa El Donia"(The World is Beautiful-a drama). I would like to thank you very much for all the effort you exert on
behalf of all Arab children. I would like to thank you very much and encourage you; your efforts are appreciated and very fruitful in my children's lives. Both Martin's and Mathew's lives have changed completely. They know all the songs aired on SAT-7 Kids. They love going to Sunday school. They learn many valuable principals like Jesus is the King of Kings, from the different shows you air such as "Korsanou" (a cartoon). They are also learning how to speak directly to Jesus like "Herme" does (Herme is a cartoon caterpillar who prays). They are learning to eat healthy food from the programme "Fatafeet" (Crumbs). We are now reading a story from the Bible like the programme "Bed Time Story". They learnt that the earth is like a circle from "Abu El Orif (an educational programme)".
