SAT-7 News and Prayer Letter | September 2008

The writer of this new series for PARS says, "The Challenge was made to improve and develop the faith of believers and young people who have recently come to have faith in Christ. Because new believers will face many unique challenges and difficulties as they begin their spiritual journeys." The series revolves around an ensemble cast of young people facing various struggles. The show is written specifically for Iranian young people, and the topics are targeted to their needs. Some of the first episodes cover such issues such as horoscopes and fortune tellers, blaming others, being humble, and one entitled "God Told Me" which is designed to help young believers understand how to seek and understand God's will for their lives.

Please pray: That young people in Iran will tune into this new drama and that learn more about how following the Lord in their daily lives.

SAT-7 PARS viewer's story:

Amir, a man in Iran called to thank SAT-7 PARS for the broadcasts. He said he came to Christ through a miracle when Jesus had healed his daughter. In the area that he lives there were a couple of more miracles and because of this about 16 people committed their lives to Christ! Unfortunately, they do not have a church or home group to attend and they asked for prayer and Christian materials to help them grow.
