"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?  Luke 14:28

Planning is an important part of life. Christ says that we should "count the cost" before building. Here at SAT-7 we have been building and broadcasting programs for more than 12 years. Each program goes through a review and approval process before work begins on it. If approved, then a pilot (a TV sample) program is usually created. Often the pilots are good enough for broadcast, but at times they are rejected and the producers have to go back and tweak the show (perhaps hiring different writers or actors) before it can ever go on air.

An uninhibited thirst for knowledge is the single most common characteristic of children across all nations and generations. "Why is That?" is a program dedicated to answering all kinds of questions we receive from our young viewers, mainly between the age of 7 and 14. The program is hosted by Essam Nagy from Egypt, as the amicable character of "Abul 'Urreef" – loosely translated into 'Mr Know' – who is widely known and loved from the popular children's show, "As-Sanabel."

The writer of this new series for PARS says, "The Challenge was made to improve and develop the faith of believers and young people who have recently come to have faith in Christ. Because new believers will face many unique challenges and difficulties as they begin their spiritual journeys." The series revolves around an ensemble cast of young people facing various struggles.
