Testimony Programmes

In the Book of Revelation, chapter 12 we read that Satan was overcome "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony". Someone's personal testimony, or the story of what God has done in their life, can be a powerful tool. SAT-7 airs many testimony programmes including, "Files from the Past" and "Just an Ordinary Person." In both of these programmes, a Middle Eastern Christian's life is presented in a dramatized form, with interviews and added documentary information. "Files from the Past" is an on going programme and some upcoming episodes include one about a weapon-carrying drug dealer who is now a Christian minister, a man who was addicted to pornography, and a woman who was abandoned by her family. "Just An Ordinary Person" tells the life story of local Christian leaders and how God can use ordinary people to accomplish the extraordinary.

Please pray that viewers who can relate to the testimonies in these two programmes will tune in at just the right moment to hear how God cares about them and wants to be involved in their lives.

Quotes from SAT-7 ARABIC viewers:

Dear SAT-7,

Firstly, I thank God because He heard our prayers. Not only has my life changed because of your programmes, but my husband's as well. He is back home and started serving the Lord.

Thank you very much for you prayers and for the programme "Sallou Maana" (Pray With Us).

-A woman in Egypt

Dear SAT-7,

I thank God for SAT-7's ministry. I am 19 years old. When I was 15 years old, I started watching SAT-7 programmes and especially the "As-Sanabel" (Ears of Wheat) programme. It helped me find Christ. I am now Christian and I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour. May the Lord bless you richly and use you more to lead many to Christ to be saved from darkness.

God bless you,

-a man in Morocco
