Unimaginable Hope - Nearly unthinkable! Holding a worship service in Cairo’s Tahrir Square would be seemingly unimaginable, especially in light of the recent violence there. But, a member of Kasr El Dobara Church, a major evangelical church just off Tahrir Square, put it this way, “We have always been protected under the ceiling and between the columns of the church. The day has come for us to leave our chairs to share with those who need to understand our hope more fully.”

The high turnout of Egyptians voting on their parliamentary future has prompted SAT-7 to continue with its unique current affairs series, The Salt of the Earth* until the Eastern Christmas, January 7.

Broadcast live on Wednesday evenings, each episode helps raise awareness about issues that will impact the country’s Christian community and other minorities, and their potential future status – encouraging everyone to participate in the political process rather than passively await an outcome determined by others! The show invites both Muslim and Christian politicians to answer tough questions and provides a platform for Christian leaders to bring a Biblical perspective on key issues.
