A True Partnership

I recently met with many of SAT-7’s Partners, who came from around the world to take part in our annual Network conference.  It was a wonderful time as we heard reports of what God is doing through SAT-7’s channels.  We listened intently as Ramez Atallah, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Egypt, challenged us as individuals, and as a ministry, to be the means through which Christ’s message is manifest.

We also heard from Gilbert Hovesepian, a TV producer and host of a number of programs on our SAT-7 PARS channel, who said that TV is effective because it helps viewers see real stories how God changes lives.  Gilbert, the son of an Iranian pastor killed for his faith, shared how when he and his family discuss forgiveness on their TV programs it has a powerful effect on viewers.

During the conference we also broadcast our weekly live show “From Me to You” for the first time from Cyprus (usually it is televised from Lebanon).  This was a huge undertaking and required the combined efforts of Lebanese, Egyptian, Cypriot and Iranian technicians.  It was challenging, but “the show must go on,” and it did!  Many viewers commented how surprised and blessed they were to see the show from Cyprus, and how they hope the “From Me to You” team can take their program to other countries around the region.

These events vividly demonstrate that SAT-7 is truly a multi-national, multi-denominational, multi-ministry effort working in partnership to support local Arab, Turkish and Iranian churches.  We ended the conference on a more solemn note as we sought the Lord together for His provision for the upcoming year.  We have many challenges ahead, but with your partnership and prayer support, we know that SAT-7 will continue to “Make God’s Love Visible” to millions of viewers who have yet to experience His love for themselves.

Yours in His Service Together,
