The Need
Christians in the Middle East and North Africa are under constant pressure. Many live in places where the have little or no access to Christian education, encouragement and simply fellowship with other followers of Christ. This can be especially difficult for people who are new to the faith, or to those who want to find out more about the teachings of Jesus and his followers.
SAT-7 seeks to be both a resource and a tool for the local church. The ministry employs over 100 people in the region. These Christian Arabs, Iranians and Turks are responsible for creating and broadcasting programs on SAT-7’s three channels. Because they live in the region, they know their local cultures and how to best minister to their communities through the medium of television. Every day SAT-7’s programs reach directly into homes even in the most remote locations, bringing the Good News of Jesus to those who want to know and serve him more.
