The Audience

Around 60 % of the Arab world is under the age of 25, so huge numbers of children (around 100 million) live in the region. SAT-7 has sought to minister to these children from its very first broadcast  and after eleven years of creating quality Christian programming for children, launched SAT-7 KIDS to meet their needs. Arab children of all economic levels watch SAT-7, from those living in city skyscrapers, to children in the poorest farming communities, or places like the garbage city of Cairo. Many other children live in war zones, and SAT-7 KIDS provides a safe place for them, where they can escape from the terrible situations and feel Gods’ love.

SAT-7 KIDS viewers regularly send in emails and letters to say thank you for the channel, to enter on-screen contests or to ask for prayers and encouragement. For more than a decade SAT-7 has been corresponding with these children, sending them prizes and other items to encourage them and help them walk with the Lord from a young age.
