They Are Watching!

“…watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. Deuteronomy 4:9
In this verse from Deuteronomy we see God challenging his people to “watch” themselves and their lifestyles; to remember the many miraculous things they have seen.
Our eyes are powerful windows to our souls. Visual media can distort, or reinforce, the truth. We have a great responsibility to broadcast images that help our viewers see the truth in such a way that it will not slip from their hearts and will have a positive impact on their lives.
All four SAT-7 channels are working to bring positive images to our viewers. Our ARABIC channel is helping to correct the distorted view many have of women who struggle to raise their families without the help of a husband; our KIDS channel has characters like “Mr. Know” to answer real questions posed by young Arabs; our PARS channel is enabling children to see and learn essential Bible lessons; and our TÜRK channel will soon show many viewers “The Way,” a drama series that has been very popular in its original Arabic version as it demonstrates how we can show the love of Christ – even in a non-Christian culture.
Thank you for praying that God will enable each SAT-7 channel to become ever more effective in showing our viewers the “Way, the Truth and the Life.” Because, As Mr. Know says, “people are watching!”
