Please pray for Churches and Christians in the Middle East & North Africa

Several Christian Churches in this region trace their roots back to the first Apostles. But over the years the local Christian community has shrunk, and even disappeared in some areas. Even if sizable communities remain, many churches are struggling to survive.

Please pray for them and for the daily challenges many of SAT-7’s viewers face. Here are some items you can pray for:

• For freedom to worship and build churches
• For protection of the churches, homes and lives of the Christians in the region
• For perseverance for the churches to witness for Christ even in difficult circumstances
• For wise and well educated spiritual leaders
• For good and solid teaching materials about the Christian faith, especially for children and youth
• For the Christians who stay in the region to have the courage to continue living in the Middle East and serve as witnesses to their neighbours
• For non-Christian neighbours to have a better understanding of what Christianity is
• For individual Middle Eastern Christians to have a greater hope about the future
