Why support SAT-7?

A plethora of Pound Shops have shot up across the UK in recent years. It’s amazing what we can buy for £1. Batteries, crayons, gloves and so much more. Many goods will not last more than a few days or weeks and we take for granted that there will always be an unending supply whenever we want it. That goes for spiritual things too – every village, town and city has at least one church and the majority of Christians own more than one copy of the Bible.

The contrast couldn’t be greater in the Middle East and North Africa. There, it is increasingly difficult for many people to hear about the Christian faith. In this region there often isn’t a local church; you cannot ask your family and friends to explain the Gospel; you may not even be allowed to own a Bible. But for more than 95% of the Middle East and North Africa they do have access to television. For just £1 you can help SAT-7 take the Gospel into people’s living rooms and help transform lives. Amazingly it costs SAT-7 only £1 to broadcast 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to each viewer.

SAT-7 broadcasts the message of God’s love and the hope to be found in him, in Arabic, Farsi and Turkish to young and old from Morocco to Afghanistan and Turkey to Sudan.
