Many women in the Middle East struggle to raise families on their own because their husbands have died, deserted them, or have left the country for years on end to seek employment elsewhere, or have effectively abandoned their families through an addiction to drugs or alcohol. Jesus loves these women and SAT-7 also cares about them.  Over the past year, SAT-7 ARABIC has broadcast a series of documentaries that show the severe plight of such women. The objective of these broadcasts is to help transform society's negative view to one of sympathy and support.

The Cairo International Book Fair draws over 2 million visitors each year, making it one of the biggest in the world.  SAT-7’s booth at this book fair sought to establish a face-to-face relationship with its viewers and to make God’s love visible.
