Iran has a high number of Internet users for a Middle Eastern country of its size.  Despite restrictions, according to some studies approximately 48% of population regularly uses the Internet.  According to the same studies, in Egypt (a country of similar size) only around  21% of the population regularly uses the Internet.

Over the last year SAT-7 has been able to add more and more live programs to its schedule.  These shows have proven very effective, giving viewers a chance to call in, ask their questions directly and receive answers.  This new program intends to focus specifically on viewer’s needs. 

This month producers for SAT-7 KIDS’ popular program “Why is That?” will be building new sets and preparing to broadcast the show live for the first time—from Egypt!  Previously the show was recorded in Lebanon, but the host, “Mr. Know” lives in Egypt.
